Tumbbad Movie Review - A Masterclass Sinister Tale

Some films warrants a theater rewatch. Tumbbad is a spectacle of epic horror. It’s a brilliant and intense dark adventure with a corrosive effects of greed and its repercussions. Remember you cannot inherit everything, something should be left where it is.

The most impressive thing about Tumbbad is the riveting Tale of Forgotten Gods, cursed villages, and unyielding Pursuit. The screenplay seamlessly integrates Hindu mythology and its beautifully fictionalized.

With a terrific gloomy atmosphere, here cinematography meets mystery in the torrential rain's embrace. Loaded with some really haunting moments, the village of Tumbbad is shrouded in mystery throughout. The visuals do a lot of the work here, consistently strong in drawing traditions.

Divided into three chapters, the film starts off in 1927 and continues for 30 years of a family journey and all for one thing Inheritance. To me the final chapter and the third act of son trying to improvise is a pure work of genius and a clever take.

Rich in imagination and loaded with details this film still stands as one of the best Indian horror movies unmatched so far. Tumbbad sets the stage for an unforgettable theater experience.

This Iconic dialogue is now part of history - Soja, Warna Hastar Aa Jaaega

Verdict - 4/5(The temple of the first-born)
