The quality of foreign language series seems to be getting better and better. This one is yet another solid suspenseful slow burning thriller from Belgium. Here substance and narration prevails over style. I would have liked it more if it came before La Casa de Papel as some of the concepts are taken from that. Nevertheless this clever heist series wont disappoint you. The narration is something unique where the bank robbery story, happening within a 24 hrs time span, is being told as two as two side of the coin. The odd episode focus on the investigation perspective and the even one focus on the inside premise drama. The slow building tension and the real reason on why the crime is committed unfolds nicely with some great twists and turns. The last sob is just wonderful and its a perfect icing on the cake. In the end this varied European TV thriller is a pure form of entertainment of a different league.

Verdict - 3.5/5(Two sides of Crime)
